Curry fishballs at 咖喱榮牛雜魚蛋

After spending the afternoon sightseeing and walking quite a bit at the Historic center of Macau, we decided to take a break and try some local street snacks. Our initial plan was to try the 咖喱魚蛋 (Curry fishballs) at the popular 恆友魚蛋 but there was a long queue outside the stall.

We eventually decided to check out the other similar stalls along the same alley. This tiny alley is dotted with 咖喱魚蛋 stalls. After some exploration, we settled on 咖喱榮牛雜魚蛋 which also has an extensive selection of skewer snacks (most are priced at MOP5-8 per stick).

We picked up an empty metal plate and placed our selected skewers on the plate, and then pass it to the stall owner. You'll be asked if you want it spicy or not...of course we said yes.

A couple of minutes later, we got our piping hot food in a disposable bowl. Looking good.

The curry skewered snacks and fishballs were spicy and flavorful. Ingredients were fresh...delish! Do give it a try if you are in the mood for some spicy local snacks.
